Just Some of Dr. Heinrich's Favorite Things
If you didn't notice, he likes to be kept busy. He is always thinking of new and exciting (to me, at least) hobbies that can keep him occupied. Below are a few of his favorite things.

Gardening
He's into it, but his success has been limited. It takes more time and patience than he have most days.

Peloton
He's addicted, but in a good way. The bike, tread, and strength training are his favorites. Find him on the platform at @DrChrisHeinrich.

Reading
From horror to classic lit. Send him suggestions to add to his TBR list. You can find him on Fable. Also, check out the book club he co-founded, Walden's Social Change Book Club! Everyone is welcome to join.

Needle and Thread Art
He has so many ongoing projects, and he enjoys all of them. He still can't figure out crocheting, but he's gotten better at knitting and needlepoint. Shashiko is next on the list of things to try.

Cooking Competition Shows
Nothing gives him more pleasure than a new season of GBBO. If you know Gordon Ramsay, he has some ideas.

Museums
From art to natural history, he absolutely loves spending time looking at all the treasures. His inner Robert Langdon and Indiana Jones come out. You can find him and my family at several local ones, several weekends a month. Some of their favorites are Harvard Museum of Natural History; Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum; and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. On the bucket list is to spend as much time as possible at The Smithsonian Institution sites and the Louvre.
Running
He completed a 5K in November 2024 after avoiding organized races for many years. Something overtook him, and he's been signing up for as many as he can since. Stats are below. He attempted to complete his first marathon in 2025, but his legs took the better of him at mile 17.9. Another marathon is on the books for 2026!
